My Nebulae v2 will not load samples.

This LED color cycle indicates that your Nebulae v2 is having trouble loading the files on the USB drive. Let’s run through some troubleshoots to isolate and solve the issue at hand. If a troubleshoot helps you isolate the issue, click the response button below the troubleshoot for further inquiry.

1. Try using a different flash drive, making sure that it is formatted to FAT32. Did it work?

2. Can you try to load one single file on the flash drive from the original Nebulae sample library?

3. Remove any alternate instrument files or firmware updates that are present on the flash drive, except for your samples and neb_log.txt file. Do your samples load?

4. Can you plug in your flash drive directly to the Raspberry Pi microcomputer on the back of the module? You can remove the cable assembly that is currently installed to do this.

5. You can try reformatting the micro SD card on the back of the module. You can use the program Etcher to reformat.

Here is the disk image of the most current firmware: v2.1.2

Connect the SD card to a computer, and open Etcher.

Select the SD card as the location. Then, download and select the .zip file linked above as the file. Etcher will unzip the file for you. The whole process will take approx. 15-20 minutes to complete.

Once the SD card has been reformatted, reinsert the card into your Nebulae, and reboot.
