My Nebulae v2 LEDs are stuck on white.

If your Nebulae is booting up with white LEDs, and not advancing to the pulsing aqua LEDs, then your Nebulae is having trouble boot loading the firmware. To resolve the issue, let’s try these 3 easy troubleshoots:

1. It is possible that your Nebulae is not receiving adequate power from your PSU. We recommend running through our power troubleshoot guide to ensure that your Nebulae is receiving a proper draw.

2. Inspect the micro SD card on the back of your Nebulae v2 and ensure it is not damaged. If it is damaged, please let us know via the contact form and we will send out a replacement micro SD card.

To submit the form, click the “I am still experiencing my issue.” button below. Then include these two items in your description:

  • “I have inspected my Nebulae v2 and determined that I need a replacement micro SD card.”

  • Your mailing address

Once we receive the form, we will ship out the replacement micro SD card to you!

3. You may need to reformat your micro SD card on the back of your Nebulae v2.

You can use the program Etcher.

Here is the disk image for the Pi3 Nebulae variant.

Here is the disk image for the Pi4 Nebulae variant.

Not sure which Nebulae version you have? You can find out here!

Connect the SD card to a computer, and open Etcher.

Select the SD card as the location. Then, download and select the .zip file linked above as the file. Etcher will unzip the file for you. The whole process will take approx. 15-20 minutes to complete.

Once the SD card has been reformatted, reinsert the card into your Nebulae, and reboot.
