My Chord v2’s calibration is off.


Your Chord should be accurately calibrated from the factory, but in the case of unwarranted or unknown tampering of the module, be it secondhand or the like, you can easily recalibrate your Chord v2 using the steps below! This can also be handy if you are wanting to calibrate your Chord to a different voltage standard. To calibrate your Chord v2, you will need a reliable voltage source, such as a sequencer, to complete the process.

To begin, hold Triad while turning on module -- Mode LED will turn red:

  1. Maj LED will illuminate.

  2. Patch 1V (one octave up from the root on your sequencer) into V/oct

  3. Press Triad

  4. Maj+Asterick LED will illuminate

  5. Patch 3V (the third octave up from the root on your sequencer) into V/oct

  6. Min LED will illuminate.

  7. Patch 1V into Lead

  8. Press Triad

  9. Min+Asterick LED will illuminate

  10. Patch 3V into Lead

  11. Dom LED will illuminate.

  12. Patch 1V into Voicing

  13. Press Triad

  14. Dom+Asterick LED will illuminate

  15. Patch 3V into Voicing

  16. Dim LED will illuminate.

  17. Patch 1V into Quality

  18. Press Triad

  19. Dim+Asterick LED will illuminate

  20. Patch 3V into Quality

  21. Press Triad

Your Chord is now calibrated to the v/oct standard!
